Completed garden construction and irrigation work from Győr and the area around it. Empty plots, yards left compacted by the builders, neglected gardens — and what became of them. Every photograph is from one of our own projects, from the earthworks to the finished lawn, and from laying pipe to a system that runs.

01Opening plateIrrigation

An automatic irrigation system running: sprinklers watering the lawn at dusk in a garden near Győr — 01Automatic irrigation, running Irrigation Two sprinkler heads working an established, even lawn at dusk. During the day the system is not visible: the heads retract below the plane of the grass once they have run.

Under the finished
surface there is a system.

This archive is not studio photography. These were taken during the work and after handover, in our own gardens — including the ones where all you can see is soil, pipe and a machine. Those are the stages that decide whether the garden still looks good in two years.

04 The line of a path does not start at the paving. The edging and the bedding go in first — they decide whether the slabs are still level in years to come, and whether rain runs off.

Paving is worth whatever the bedding under it is worth.

05Drip circuitIrrigation

are visible at once.

The lawn gets a sprinkler zone and the beds get drip. The same controller, a separate programme — because the two want different amounts of water.
